“A Taste of Endow” Evening on St. HildegardJoin Simone Rizkallah, Director of Program Growth, and Teresa Hodgins for an Endow Study on Chapter 1 of Discovering the Doctors!

The Church’s most recent female Doctor, Saint Hildegard of Bingen was a prophet, composer, playwright, preacher, gifted healer, and a Benedictine nun. She founded two convents, wrote multiple books, provided spiritual counsel to popes, bishops, kings, and queens, and even invented her own language, with its own alphabet. This study examines all the doctors of the Faith but especially St. Hildegard.

The second half of the meeting will be dedicated to our usual Q&A on all things related to hosting from all the pastoral, spiritual, and theological angles!

“A Taste of Endow” Evening on St. Teresa of AvilaAt the heart of this study is the passionate, unrelenting love of St. Teresa of Avila, the famous 16th-century Spanish nun who became the first female Doctor of the Church. With her feminine heart and deep spiritual wisdom, St. Teresa helps us embark on the spiritual journey that takes place within our souls. She guides us through what she coined “The Interior Castle,” where Christ abides in the center of our being. Her profound insight, conveyed in this study, leads us to a deepened relationship with Jesus, which empowers us to become pioneers like St. Teresa of Avila, forging our way with love through the new, exciting, and often challenging frontiers we face in life.
